amusing what you wrote Egg.
I like your moth, too bad the real one didn't stick around to see the finished work. Guess we'll have to get Mr. Scribble after that moth.
EDIT: Are you sure that's a moth? Looks a bit more like a Mayfly.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
September in the UK is the season for crane flies, could this be one?
Thanks for making me chuckle, Egg.
Bob.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx.
Hi, I went on the Natural History Museum site and asked there if anyone could identify the bug.

Got a new system with windows 8.1 recently and made this wallpaper for it (resized so it doesn't bother people with lower res monitors).
The native windows wallpapers are either too cluttered or use extremely bright colors. I don't know what they were thinking And other wallpapers that I found online were all saved as .jpg and had ugly artifacts all over them. When will people understand what image format to use in which situation?
So anyway that's why I decided to make my own wallpaper. It took about 30 minutes and I'm quite happy about the result. I could add more details but I don't know... I like the simplicity of it. It goes to show that you don't need fancy shapes and intricate colors to make something that is pleasing to have as a background. It conveys the metro look of win 8 well imo.
Interesting, I sort of have the same feelings about wallpapers as you. I keep mine simple too but mostly I do mine like I do so the icons don't get lost in the clutter. If you want I can post an image of mine.

Sure go right ahead. But only post it here if you made it with Xara Otherwise post it in the off topic board
