David, sorry I was thinking about my Xara application that allows web pages to be created.
For MouseOver, take that to be any layer you create that can b hidden to see what your design will ultimately look like.

In you Photo & graphics application, i was assuming you could create curved lines and nodes with the Shape tool.
When using this and you have clicked onto a node, you can use the Tab key to move round the shape.
In the toolbar area you ought to see X, Y co-ords and angles.

My apologies for describing things that I use and may not be in your product.
Normally Xara deliver these bits as standard but I can't guarantee that are there for you

Yes Acorn, that is what I see in Photo & graphics Designer. With the exception of the "angles" part

Select, then try Arrange>>Convert to editable shapes then try with Shape Tool. Angle is in the infobar in P&GD9 :-)

    Gentlemen,

unfortunately, I don't see an "Angle" reading in the toolbar, and neither in the status bar (please note that this is P&GD7, for the time being).

And it seems that you can't 'snap-rotate' one item (here:bitmap) to another (here: slant line), not even if the center of rotation of the bitmap is placed at the intersection with the line:

Couldn't you guys have told me in the first place that "A" stands for "Angle"...

Who would have thought of THAT!

    Thanks @zapho for your patience

    Cheers David.P
