    Default Changing templates

Hello again. I did ask this question to the gentleman who videotapes the Youtube tutorials and got a tentative YES .

I began designing my site to impulsively, picking the first template I found. Since then, I've constructed over 50 popup layers and text boxes, etc.

Will I have to start from scratch with everything? He said I could drag in a new template and all would be changed. However when I tried that
nothing happened. It just covered up my old index page with the new template and all the latin text. (is it latin??)

I'm really hoping for a better outcome than starting from scratch. I spent hours putting together the text boxes for all the popup layers and the link-to functions as well.

thanks for you help in advance.

to be honest, your thread has been here a while now
and i think most people on here
you know, the ones who know what theyre talking azbout
    just dont want to disappioint
but after all that work im afraid the answer really is no
unless all your colours are named and its just the theme and not the template you want to change
the answer is going to be no

the text is called lorem ipsum
If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.

Thanks Frank. Actually I just posted earlier today. Appreciate your reply. I see however where I can copy/paste all my layers that I put together into a new template. That was my major concern. Losing text boxes and material that I typed into the web pages.

JUST SO THAT IM CORRECT WITH THIS, I'd be appreciative if some could verify that I can indeed take text boxes, and popup layers from one template and use in another????

Yes, copy and paste from one document/page to another.
