When I use FixedTab layer with placeholder link, text layer goes down

Hi everyone,

In 1st place I must say that I´m a small business owner that has bought WDP 9 just to try ... well ... when I saw what this great tool can do it was like discovering America ( HTML ... css ... Java ... is like Chinese language to me )
But with the help I got with all I´ve already learn in this forum I think I´ll go forward. Thank you to you all.

Now I have a straight idea about what I want to do but have some small things I can´t get very well:

In main page I want a fix plain slideshow with no buttons with png images, the idea is to have some figures fading cycle with a fixed background texture while the text goes over it.

In order to achieve this, I created a FixedTab Layer, I did my slideshow with WOW slider, transformed the images to Png and everything work with a placeholder (HTML body and head), except the fact that the text goes under it and I need it to go Over it, when I use internal widgets (all have buttons) it works as I need, I also tried the fade slideshow with no buttons posted before here in the forum but it has the same problem and I did manually the slideshow in GIF, but it has to be big (all screen high 600x600 px) and GIF loose to much image quality.

Difficult to know exactly what you are talking about without providing a link (or file) so we can see what you are seeing.

Perhaps you are trying to have a text overlay above the slider like this?

I was doing just that, it seem we were writing at the same time
In the link you placed, it may work, but there are some diferences, lets see ...

The slideshow in your post scroll, the ideia is to keep it fixed and with fading effect but no buttons or mouse response in the main page with png images (when we export Wow files it goes JPEG but I learned how to change them to png)... no problem about that, I used the FixedTab.

Now, I have to put the text layer scrolling over this fixed png slideshow, and here is the problem, when I do that althow the text layer is in front of FixedTab layer, the text goes under when I transform the square into a HTML link.

I also tried to do this with the fass-without-slide-numbers.web you placed before, but the same happens and the numbers appear behind the image, since the image has a transparent frame I still can see the 1234 numbers link (but I think like this I can mask it with my pattern as a photo above it).

When I use the internal widgets everyting is perfect except I see the buttons.

Do you think is possible I can do this with Xara wdp 9 ?

Luis, I really don't think you will be able to achieve parallax scrolling as per your example link with xara.

Thank you for your help. In fact I achieved but only with internal widgets the fade effect slideshow placed in a FixedTab layer works just as I need, the onyl problem are the buttons ... I also tried with all other widgets and all work. Even the - Sliding-slideshow-sans-controls.xar - posted here before works ... but I need the fade effect without numbers ... thats only that I need, do you think is possible?

If Xara had a fade, no frame, no button, non responsive widget it would work. The New Circular slideshow would work if I could remove the color background ... is almost that ..

This is only a sketch, but is enough for you to see now.
As you see the control buttons are there (and this is my problema )but the slideshow is in place while the scroll page goes over it.
