How do I go about doing this ?
How do I go about doing this ?
Just the cover or the entire publication?
Xara is not set up for e-book publishing. But if you need to design a cover this page might help http://ebookindiecovers.com/ebook-co...pecifications/
If not, do a Google search for e-book cover specifications.

Since retiring from the health service in Scotland I have been getting about 3 to 5 jobs a week from my old post as they want me to publish booklets for the NHS. I use 2 and a bit programmes Xara/Indesign (it depends on the size of booklet) to make a PDF and then Calibre to convert the PDF to EPUB. The problem is that you designing a book for various devices and I-Tunes only accept epub files which is no problem but you want to reach the largest audience you can so for over a year I have been plugging away learning "html 5". This means through Google play I also can cover the Android market as well, can have page flip, vertical or horizontal viewing and can be downloaded. The last task which I have been asked to make available in the booklets is linking to the social sites. Have a look at Calibre here it is a free programme that works: http://calibre-ebook.com/download
Design is thinking made visual.

Thanks @cmpan1 for the covers shared. How do you make sure aliasing is at a minimum? How do you make sure pixelation is at a minimum? Thanks...
nice work cmpan1

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
Those covers look great
is there a certain standard for ebook covers?
i seem to have seen them in all sorts of format, 2d like above, but also 3d resembling real books
do certain online suppliers provide specifications for ebook covers
people like amazon, google apple etc?
If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.
