Can I stop layer preloading

Is there a way to stop layers or images on layers from preloading? I have a page with many layers that have images on them. I would like them to load on request instead of automatically preloading when the page is opened in a browser. I'm using Web Designer MX.

Is it possible for you to save and post just the page that is giving you problems so we can have a look see and figure out what is happening?

Save your site with a different name, then delete all but the problem page, and then post it here.

I don't have it finished, i'm in the middle of designing it. What I was concerned about was page loading time. I was afraid that if I have a page with a lot of images on popup layers that it might slow down the time it takes for a browser to load it. If I could stop images on popup layers from preloading, it would make the page load up faster in someones browser.
