Another beautiful example of your metalwork.

Is there a tut on producing metallic finishes?

What did you use produce this?

Silver and bronze on the way I hope.

    Thanks for your comments, TKI.

Gary Priester has done loads of tutorials but I don't know if there's one on metallic finishes.

I tend to look at images and see if I can get the colour to be as close as I can.
For me, it's a bit of trial and error and just sticking at it!

    I used Designer Pro 8.
But anyone with even Xtrem Pro 5 could do this, and probably versions previous to that!

You've really picked up the detail and colour well, Rik.

Gary Priester has made many tutorials that show how to make metallic fills. The Workbook 37 in one example:

    Thanks for that Soquili.

I have taken at quick peak.

Where does that Gary guy find the time?

    Will go into it soon.

Some of my ancestors come from the lost state of Franklin and Sevierville, TN.

Gary created tutorials for more than 15 years, and I suspect he is a workaholic.

Franklin and Sevierville are very nice areas of TN.

Nah, I'm really a flake, Bill.

Nice image Rik. You seem to be really getting into the Olympics. From what I see in the Guardian on-line they look fabulous.

Thanks for you kind comment, Gary.
I'm not a lover of the 2012 Olympic logo but it is what it is.
The medal was something that I could do reasonably quickly and wanted to see if I could achieve a reasonable look.

Looks good to me Rik. Just need to win one now, a gold that is.
