Thread: menu styles

    Default menu styles

    Hi
How do I bring up the Menu Style dialogue (to edit the nav bar itself), as opposed to the pop-up menu style. Can't find it for the life of me! The help section simply says "Click on the Menu Style… button to bring up the Menu Style dialog" - I would if I knew where it was...
    Thanks, Colin

    Hi Colin

Only the pop-up menus have a style dialogue. The main Navbar is styled manually.

Edit: There are some handy links to tutorials in my sig.

    Hi Drwyd
Sorry, I didn't fully understand your reply. How do I edit them, manually or otherwise - text colour, over and mouse down states etc. And what is "my sig"?
    Many thanks, Colin

Those tutorials are not mine (apart from the last one)

Yup, only pop-up menus can be styled in this way.

Have a run through those tutorials, there is lots of useful stuff there.

NavBars from the Design Gallery usually have named (Theme) colours that are easily edited.

I think the point here Colin, is only Navigation Bars can have sub menus. That tutorial screen capture looks vaguely familiar.

So you have to start with your own navigational bar created with the Navigation Bar Tool in the Website Properties menu, or use a pre-designed navigation bar.

Once you have a functioning navigation bar, double click on the bar to open the dialog show in the screen capture you posted.

Click the + next to the page name to get to the area where you can add a new page (a sub menu to the selected page).

Have you gotten this far or do we need to step back a bit?
