    Wink The Remodeled, Spring/Summer 2012 Version: gwpriester.com

I decided to take a minimalist approach for my site redesign. I also wanted to try some of the simplified and flat graphics that will be part of Windows 8.

Comments and visits are appreciated www.gwpriester.com

I did the entire redesign in Xara Designer Pro X (officially released today) as a means of testing the newest version.

    Looks very good Gary.

One question though, on the Logo page when you hover over the Sports Quest thumbnail there are color rectangles above the navbar. Is this by design? None of the other thumbnails add color rectangles.

Of course they are there by design (not). Ack.

They were added to help me color coordinate the pages and then they got put on the wrong layer, etc. etc.

    They be gone now.

I've always liked your site gary, they only thing I would do is on the logos page make the photos click to open instead of mouse roll over. I am using a 1366x768 resolution and when I hover over the logos and scroll down to see the logo it disappears.

Gary, your image text captions are overlaying your footer text with most images on the stereograms page and some on illustrations pages in all browsers.

Sketch - Are you using a laptop?

    Steve - Good catch. Fixed.

I'm thinking of doing a completely new design but wanted to experiment with this black and white version until I figure out where the site wants to go.

Yes Gary, using a laptop. If you want to keep it rollover then I would have the thumbnails to the left of the main pic.

Very nice, clean and simple (in a good way of course!).

Still some overlay of the footer text on some of the illustrations: 1/ IRC 2/ Seth Thomas clock 3/Orange coffe mug 4/Stopwatch. (I'm viewing on 24 inch monitor @ 1920x1080 res. in Firefox)

I wish I had made this website. I love the simplicity, and I love that it is not bogged down with pages of information. It is fantastic Gary.
