Thanks, Larry--you too, Rik! The whole idea of the original version was that the guy that gets robbed lays there in agony as a couple of people pass by. Then finally, a Samaritan, who was like an enemy in the society of that day comes by and helps him. So I thought I'd switch it around with the beggar helping the guy who had shut him down in the beginning. And they end up best of friends. It's not a big spiritual lesson but I thought of all the stories in the news where someone gets beaten up or raped or whatever while people pass by and do nothing cause they don't want to get involved. In any case, it was fun doing.
