    Default Background Image

OK Ive searched the site and could not find anything on using an Image instead of colors for the background of a site. I am new to WDP so have not figured it out yet. I am a web designer that has used NOF for 12 years it is easy with it. Im sure it is with WD7 but I'm not finding it.
Thx In advance for any help

    Hi Martin, welcome to Talkgraphics.

If you hold down a Control Key when dragging an image to either the work space or the pasteboard it will become the background image when you drop it.

    OK thanks for that tip...
not quite what I mean though. That put the graphic as the back of the page.
What I need is the back of the entire site. So no matter what I put on the site it has the background behind. I have a site designed in NOF I just want to redesign it with WD7 to see how far I can go with it.
So far I'm blown away by its functions and ease of use many of the things that take me so long before now is achieved very quickly.
Check out this site I made for a company in AUS and you will see the background.
BTW the little bear was simply a JPG animated..cool right?

Very nice site Martin. The bear is adorable.

Martin the Pasteboard will become the site background if you put the image there then use Copy Page. The workspace and pasteboard can have different colors or images as you desire.

BTW I do not like the dark skin that is the default for current Xara products so I change it back to the original using Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S. The key sequence also reverts any customized controlbars back to their defaults so use caution when playing around with those keys.
