Well, I got very excited from the possibilities of Xara, and getting inspired from the Leafgirl clipart from Xara's example gallery I produced one of my own. It isn't finished since I want to add more details. I am willing to make a tutorial for the simple shading and 3D look, maybe even in *.avi format, so this shall be my contribution to the forum. Well anyway this is the picture. I will appreciate if you give it your honest rating as pros (since it's my first experiment EVER so anything more than 2 will be a compliment http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

P.S. I made several examples of the Hair, and here is just a traced bitmap image of the hair color... so I didn't really draw it myself, although mine was close to this as well...

Very Nice Availor, Very Nice. Some things can be tweeaked a little bit, but over all a very nice image and nice layout. You get a thumbs up for this one.

Hi Availor,

"Tweaked" is a term from my elelctronics repair days... Slight adjustment, nothing major. Every artist can tweak on there work... A slight change to a line width, a touch of a different shade here or there for enhanced shading... You know.. the typical picture is never done, but it is presentable things...
