Default Each page in its own folder for seo?

I'm trying to optimise a site for seo. I've noticed that google groups key pages for some sites together. How do you achieve this?

Building a site in Xara you have the option of creating inividual pages, each with its own folder, or creating all the pages within a project with a common index folder.

Any advantages either way for seo??

I cannot see anything but a lot of extra work involved.

The most important thing is content. Is your site content good? Is there something to draw visitors to your site?

I had an instructor in art school many years ago who said, don't try to be different to be good. Be good and you WILL be different.

Organize your site so that it is easy to get to the information. Don't have a lot of gratuitous cute stuff. Make sure your page title for each page gives a good searchable account of each page, e.g. About the XYZ Trash Removal Specialists, vs. About Us.

If you have graphics, add an Alt tag (in Website Properties > Images section) so that the search engines know what the photo is, e.g. One of our fleet of Volvo 8600 removal vehicles, vs. 076.jpg. Make your description for each page short but informative.

    IOW Use common sense.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'd forgotten about alt image descriptions, so I'll get onto that next.

Still curious why google groups some results for a site together like this screen shot... how can you set about achieving this?
