Hi there, I've been trying for a white to import an .eps file into Designer Pro 6. It's from .ai CS4. I can import the native .ai file, but not the .eps.
All I seem to end up with is a blank page.
Any suggestions?

EPS is really meant to be placed in a publishing program such as InDesign or QuarkXPress.
If you can import the .ai file, this is perfect and is what you want to be editing anyway.
IOW it is a non-problem.

When you are in "Save As" dialogue select EPS and then use the "Legacy 8" option in the EPS Options under the top drop down box "versions". Hope that you can understand that as this will give you something that you can import. Please remember that Legacy 8 will render fonts as points or shapes which will make it impossible to edit text and complex colours and blends done in Illy will be grouped shapes and if you ungroup them then again it will be difficult to edit. *eps is only really used these days as a way of doing online publishing to get around font issues of copyright.
