a bowl full of kibbles!

This is a bowl of kibbles I'm working on that I'm hoping to use on a website I'm doing for a local pet food store. I've rendered it here on a plane just so it doesn't appear to be floating in space, but final output will be with a transparent background and (pending client approval) it will be placed on a page listing different brands of pet foods that they sell.

They look a little bit like vanilla wafers. Okay, slightly overdone vanilla wafers, but still.

Very cool that you can make something for your work. It certainly looks photographic.

Thanks James and Frank for your comments, hopefully if all goes well I'll know some time next week if the doggie dish will be approved. And last week my husband wanted a bowling pin to illustrate a joke for the paper so I made him a 3D one and it came out quite well.

Update: Thee client loved the 3D doggie bowl! Now I just have to deal with the pile of other changes that they want!
