Sitemap... visible or invisible?

Hi All,

I know that XWD7P as a feature that puts a sitemap into your website when you upload it [providing you put in your url when you upload your site]. But, it doesn't actually put a link in the website that says 'sitemap'.

So my question is: is it beneficial to have a visible sitemap link in the website [rather than an invisible sitemap such as the one put in by the program] for SEO purposes?

As far as I know, this added feature is for the search engine indexing bots, not for real humans.
So SEO purposes are catered for anyway.

It is a good idea to have a visible sitemap(sitemap.htm) aswell in your website as unlike Google... some search engine crawl-bots don't include links that are embeded in Flash etc..
So search engines which you haven't submitted a sitemap(sitemap.xml) to may not be able to index your entire site.
