Rik, black would be the ultimately dark UI.

Jimi I don't use the keyboard shortcuts so I have toolbar icons for all/most of the actions normally performed. I also don't like going through menus or 'flyouts'.

Most of my work is done zoomed in to the work area. Having too wide a view would only make my work harder to perform.

Why draw something at 2000+ pixels in size when it will have to be scaled down to less than 500 for actual use.

Each to their own I guess Bill. I don't really use shortcut keys either, but I tend to have a web page layout front and centre with all the left overs from the stuff used to create it around the outside.

I'm also quite fond of using the side wheel of my Logitech mouse to zomm in and out when I've got a lot of stuff on the page.
