Placeholder not showing

I have tried placing a swf file in the place holder and putting html and it will not show!!?

This is for a slideshow of photos.

I have firebug within Firefox and I can see the script.....but then again I'm no script writer and just recognize what I placed in the placeholder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you inserted the placeholder on another layer other than the mouseoff layer? This looks like the most likely cause.

You can enable and disable the viewing of different layers via the page and layer gallery and this will allow you to check.
