Convert Rectangle to editable shape but no curve handles

Hi

no they do not always appear automatically when converting quick shape to editable shape

with shape selected, in shape editor tool, make sure that one of the nodes is selected [click on it] - then place your cusor on the line between nodes so the arrow appears and then drag the line slightly and let go of mouse button - the handles should appear

[BTW: this line drag feature is one of the shape editor tools strengths]
