Maybe you could post the actual logo so we can see how well you have done?

Looking at a Bing image result Bob did a very good job on the logo.

That is an excellent likeness of the logo Bob.
The only problem I have isn't with your work, but with the actual logo itself.
Kind of looks unfinished to me. Seems like the gray area is too 2 dimensional.
A slight hint of rounded bevel would have helped immensely!

This seems to be a very popular tutorial. I did a Google search and most of the logos are from tutorials.
Here is a link to what I think may be the official logo, though it is not easy to tell.

Here is an modified alternate rather than a recreation of the Sony Ericsson logo.
Gave it a bevel and changed the interior design.
Seems a bit more in the Sony style to me.

Yes, Gary, that was the logo I used, but not from a tutorial, though. @ Andy: I cloned the grey area and gave it a black fill with a circular transparency, I imagine this was how you thought it should look.
Thanks to Rik, Frank and Bill for your comments, too.
Saludos,
Bob.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx.
Really good logo's but in these harsh economic times i had to
opt for a cheaper choise, a Erics Sonyson
be aware, not to become a ware.
