    Default Castles

    These were taken a few years ago in my pre-DSLR days, using a Canon compact.


    This was taken from Beeston Castle... long and winding road!


    This was in Bolsover Castle. Like many other places, it's managed by the National Trust, and they often have volunteers in period costumes to add to the ambience. This lady obligingly sat down in an alcove as I was coming down the stairs. Focus leaves something to be desired, but it was a quick snap.
