Xara Designer Pro 6 Launched (Xara Xtreme 6 Pro)

It´s here finally. Check out the site www.xara.com.
It´s now called Xara Designer PRO and the regular version of Xtreme has been renamed to Xara Photo & Graphic Designer.

Am I seeing correctly that the upgrade price from xtreme 5 >> DPro-6 is the same as from xtremePro 5 -- 99 bucks?

That's a huge jump from the 59 bucks of the last version.

Looks like it has some very solid feature updates. I'm downloading the demo now and look forward to checking out the new drawing features.
One downside is that it seems to make my recently purchased Xara Web obsolete. I'm not too glum though. Xara web 6 is a work of genius that is improved by Xtremes...er Designer Pro's extra tools. (herein referred to as XDP6)

Both new versions work very well on Windows 7. Running both versions on an older machine that barely meets the minimum Windows 7 requirements.

Oh, I prefer the normal interface much more than the dark one.

Yep I was astounded too. I wait for what the upgrades are
because I find this pretty steep, but it might be worth it. 89 euro's?
(and I have to pay the bank for the transfer)

I exchanged dollars to pounds and it gave 66,8 while
pound upgrades are 77 or somthing like that

You actually get LESS for your money if upgrading from Pro, as you don't get the manual!
