Default slicing an image leaves lines

Did some looking but I didn't really see an answer.

some time now, after upgrading Xtreme to ver 5, I've noticed that when I slice an image up, I end up with faint lines which seem to be attached to the slices.

If I create a box, and slice it into 4 sections, and then display them on a web page as a block of 4 images, you can see the lines. This is especially true if you are using a small slice and repeating it across or down a page.

I think this has to do something with anti-aliasing, but I can't seem to find where that might be adjustable.

Is there a trick to this, an adjustment that I can make.

Try making sure that your image and slicing lines are positioned on whole pixel co-ordinates.

Ahh. Never thought of that before. Just gave it a try and it seems to work.

    Thanks.

And, make sure the sliced sections are in even pixels amounts (e.g. 250pix vs 250.4pix).

When a bitmap image is in fractional pixel amounts, Xara anti-aliases (blends) the fractional pixel amount to the page color.
