If you are doing the image cropping etc. in an Adobe product it will alsways get bigger when you import into Xara due to the difference between window res. and Mac which is the Adobe default res (72 - 90 dpi.).

This of course you can override in Xtreme options>>View to 'Import all photos at 96dpi' rather than the dpi specified in the file.
