Making colors

I must confess that I have a real problem coming up with colors. Can anyone tell me what settings to use to make the color gold. Also is there some kind of a color wheel or such that can tell me what settings to make for particular colors. Thanks for any advice.

Hi Manny, If you are using Xtreme a very easy way to create gold colours is to sample them from a photo with the eyedropper tool. Here is a palette of gold colours that I created by sampling a very light colour and a very dark colour from a photo of gold bars, then I made a 15 step blend to get the intermediate colours.
