    Default [basic] exporting

Setup: Windows XP pro sp/3 XaraExtreme 5

I'm having some trouble understanding how to export a flash.swf and have it play anywhere else.

Possibly not getting how flash works.. but If I export my simple 3 frame animation as *.swf then pick (I guess) `swf8', and `page as against `selection' or `drawing'. ( I have tried them all to be sure). I should be able to play it with adobe flash player version 10 right?

But all I see is one frame.

The Adobe medial player refuses to even open it.

If I simply double click the *.swf, Adobe Flash player 10 opens but all I see is one frame and the controls menu item has all the controls greyed out.

And even if I open it with Adobe Flash Pro CS4, it still just shows one frame.

However when I preview it inside XaraExtreme5 it plays like I expect it to.
