Yes, it is a horrible disaster. I hope that they will get all of the help that they need. It looks like they are getting help from all around the world. I have seen many countries sending in rescue teams and supplies. Those poor people.

As devastating a tragedy this is, I think this will be a turning point for Haiti. The world can no longer look away from their strife.

But after seeing how the aid was used after the big tsunami, I fear
they might be in worse problems still.

I felt so sad when it happened in Haiti because I felt that the world would react slowly and after the initial help it would soon trail off, hopefully the US will see sense and turn the $100million loan into a grant. Also one thing that really p***** me off is when I see groups like Oxfam sending things like food and water and tents etc thousands of miles from the UK, firstly it would take longer to arrange then to get it from neighbour countries and also far cheaper making sure that the money people donate goes far further (sorry for being a bit political but it really makes my blood boil).
