Tom you do not need to make the page the size of your banner.
Simply create a rectangle the size you need as a banner. When you have completed your drawing simply select the banner elements and export.

Sorry, it is an gif animation. I'm sure I'm missing something.
Tom
When you export the animation, Xtreme exports the drawing (animation) not the page size.
Thanks Sledger
Strangel....for me the entire page is exported. Is there a setting I'm missing?
Tom
Tom which version are you using?

Latest, XP 5.1.2
I see under animation properties that I have an option to select areas to save (drawing or page) for swf but not gifs.
Tom
It does appear that Xtreme 5 gif animations have been broken with the new code.
I cannot export an animated gif that is less than the page size.
I thought this had been fixed in one of the previous updates.

Ok..so I'm not going crazy then ;-).
I managed to adjust things so I could change the height of the gif ani. to min page height.
Now another issue. I know I can attach a link to a single gif image and it works after I export it. I have gif animation with two images and would like to have two different links (one for each image) but I lose these when I export. It works in flash, but not with gifs. Is this right?
Tom
I'm submitting a bug report to Xara so they are aware of the problem.
I'm also searching for any posts that I thought had mentioned this whan Xtreme 5 was first released.
