I would say it is very unlikely.
In a 3D application you can import a vector (usually in .ai format) and use the 3D tools to convert it to an extrusion or lathe object.
Expecting a vector program to support true 3D objects isn't very realistic. Not even Adobe has provided that support and they have more money to spend on esoteric features.

I say that because Xara has already 3D capabilities
Actually it does not have 3D capabilities as used in 3D applications.
Xara creates a bitmap extrusion of a vector shape, not a true 3D object.

and 3D importation ?
you can import vectors from SketchUp Pro I believe, other members have mentioned it - if you do a search it of the forum it should bring up a reference - possibly you need to export as PDF, but I am not certain

I'm downloading SketchUp 7
Yes you can import from SketchUp but note itīs not 3d models. You can only import a "vectorized" view of the model in 2D thatīs editable in Xara Xtreme.
You cannot manipulate it in three dimensions in Xara Xtreme. Only in 2D.
Xara Xtreme doesn't recognize .skp files, but i found a plugin for generating 2D outputs for SketchUp pages, importable in Xara Xtreme, but not yet a 2D input plugin for SketchUp.
(edit)
As Xtreme exports in .svg (though it does not import), one can use the svg plugin import of SketchUp.

Thank you for your suggestion ab29 however I remind you that the Dear Xara forum is not intended for debating or lengthy discussions.
You may wish to open a new thread in the Xtreme and Xtreme Pro forum to discuss export and import topics.
