Painter 8 annd Snow Leopard

Anyone know if Painter 8 will work with Mac OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard)?
Corel says Painter 11 works OK but "we no longer support Painter 8 and you should refer to forums for help". Geeze.

I am told it will, but you will first need to install the PowerPC emulator Rosetta
