    Default odd layer behaviour

Maybe unrelated, but since I reinstalled Xtreme V off the CD, the 'new' and 'duplicate' buttons on the object gallery don't work. If I right-click, I can still make a new layer, or duplicate an existing one using the dropdown menu.

    Has anybody else noticed this?

Yes, same happened to me. The mask button was also missing.

Did you install over the top of the download version? It may be that is the reason for both anomalies. My computer has Windows XP SP2.

It installed perfectly on the new laptop (Vista).

It's always kinda reassuring when someone else has the same problem ...

I uninstalled the downloaded version before installing the CD version. Am running Vista home premium.

I'd suggest you do an uninstall/reinstall cristofa and see if the problem still exists. It only takes a few minutes.

I have just done a complete uninstall (using Revo) and reinstalled. Problem solved. Also mask button in position.

Obviously not an isolated incident though as there is a third thread started this morning with the same thing.
