    hello everyone,

I would like to modify .jpg images in Xara and can't figure out how to clone part of an image to cover up existing icons in the image. I'm sure this is really easy but I haven't come across the solution yet and now solicit your help. See attached.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

If you want to cover the two icons in your sample, cover them with shapes then use the colour editor to copy the colours. Feather to give a smooth appearance.

I new it was easy. I'm learning that you have to be creative to with Xara.

    Thanks,

And on the other hand... if your image is only as simple as your example image shows... why not just recreate it?

Wouldn't take any time at all. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
