Soquili: Xtreme 5 will not 'open' nor 'import' the .web file.
What do you know that I don't?
Appreciated your help.

Can you attach your .web file?
All mine open fine in Xtreme 5.
here it is sledger - thanks
Your script is calling for arial black in many of the <div> tags. Within that tag, it is requesting bold character before the <div> tag ends (</div>). It looks like it all starts to take place beginning with the "ARTICLES AND FREE RESOURCES TO HELP AND GUIDE". Remove this... (font-weight: bold; ) from within those tags. Remove all of them though, or you will still get the error when you preview. Make a copy of the page and name it as a trial page or so, just so you can chop into it without messing up the original.

oookkk....... thanks for finding that... now...
how would I go about rectifying that? If I understand it right, you can't edit the HTML directly in WD?
thanks
OH......... if I would have read for another line I would have seen your suggestion...... sorry.... I'll give it a try

make a copy of the page and remove the "NON-ADVERTISING SERVICE"
and the "ARTICLES AND FREE RESOURCES TO HELP AND GUIDE". get rid of that whole block of text that goes with each. preview and see if you get the error. If you get it, there is still one lurking within. But honestly, the site on the server has no issues. Just knowing I goofed on a page and where, I can accept the pop up...lol. You can always go strait to the html code on the server, or download the page from server to html editor and make changes from there, but that won't make any changes in XWD though.

Thanks to all for your help.... I did it the easy way.
I just replaced all Arial Black with Tahoma Bold and that did it.
Now I will slowly begin replace the Arial Black back.
Rock On !!
Hi Cmpan1,
Your file opened without problem on my system. I simply used Windows Explorer, right clicked on your file and selected Open with... and chose Xara Xtreme 5 from the list of applications capable of opening a .web file.
