    Default Load size

I am rendering a few of my wing drawings. The cells are being done in E3, and the matrix in Xara. I render out at 300 DPI in E3, and 300 DPI in Xara. When I load the images, the Xara image loads at 300 DPI, and the E3 image loads at 96 DPI.

So, is it possible to define the resolution for the E3 image at 300 DPI in Xara.

Have you already tried to change the import JPG setting in Xara Xtreme options?
Go to Utilities> Options> View tab and in the Bitmaps section make sure you have "Import JPGs at 96dpi" unchecked.

It´s the only thing i can think of.

For an unknown reason, rendering at 300 dpi gave an image at 150 dpi. The pixel size was correct, however. Probably a very old export filter.

Magically, I was able to render in the same application giving images of the same resolution. I was going to use EC4000 for coloring, because coloring a wing matrix has never been possible. My guess is better graphic card capability and monitor.

The program came out about the same time as Corel Xara.

    I always assemble in Xara.

    Hello Molucca

I know this may appear a silly question, possibly because I am not familiar with this E3 and EC400, but why could you not achieve that image entirely in Xara? It seems to me it should be possible, no. Maybe I am missing something, I am not a specialist in 3D (which, I assume, this is).

    Look forward to your reply

This is only one of several methods I use.

Eye Candy 4000 comes with XXP, and I made about 300 environments to color. It is a bitmap effect and is somewhat limited to size. You could use it to color from Xara.

Sper Blade Pro also would work, but is also limited is size.

Xara and AutoFX Gel works, too.

E3 uses environments to color vector objects. My environments are mostly from natural things. I like the way natural colors work together.

    This is all 2D.

The path may be determined by the desired result.

Hmmm. This is all over my head I'm afraid, but not to worry, as long as it works for you is of course all that matters. That wing you posted was beautiful so the results are clearly worth the effort with all these programs

    Same wing Xara and Gel.

    Actually a very easy way.
