No PM could cause some to go elswhere. I cannot see where a Newbie can start a new post or get his question answered. Most cannot wait for support all day and all night. I discovered the Search link and it is good and working well. Is ther no email notification when someone answers your post?

Email notifications when a response is posted to your thread (subscriptions) are enabled via your user control panel:

Settings and Options>>Edit Options>>Messaging & Notification>>Default Thread Subscription Mode



You may also enable or disable on a per thread basis when posting found in the Additional Options area under the message composer.
