Textures From Blends

Larry, I too have been trying to gain some control over the blending, and have also found that regular shapes improve the results. One of the textures below uses a linear repeating fill of 2 sets of 2 colours, and the rest are fractal plasma fills. Choice of colours is important too. I've examined your .xar files and after some experimentation I'm able to predict roughly how certain blends might turn out, but I don't think it's an exact science.
