differing sized layers in xara3d

Hi guys
i have been playing around with xara3d for a few days and i am pretty sure i will be purchasing the full version very soon, i just have one question for now with hundreds to follow rofl.
i want to put a spinning UT3 logo infront of a screenshot from our server and need to know if you can have the backround size 240 * 320 pixels and the spinning logo at a smaller size.

i have read a few, well a lot of posts about using 2d images and making them 3d, but is there an idiots guide to doing this, i downloaded the trial version of xara extreme but it is all blancmange and custard to me so far, is there anyway of just cutting around a picture and using it with xara3d??????????

right click to get the menu
click background texture to import the background image
- the background will be tiled, not stretched

then on the shape size - use "set to width"
drag the corner or side of the xara3d program to resize it (cant be maximized / full screen) to fit the exact size of the background texture.

and then export
