Invisible oops

I think I did something stupid. Actually, I'm pretty sure I did.

I drew some shapes and applied attributes. Instead of putting them on another layer and making it invisible, I instead just made the shapes 100% transparent. So now I can't seem to select them or find them again.

I thought I saw a thread here about Xara not letting you select invisible objects. Does this mean they are gone forever or is the geometry there but I can't select it?

I can think of a number of ways to select them:

- CTRL-A
- Border-select
- By name (if they have names assigned)

Oh, I won't make it that easy for you, lol.

I have no borders on it.
I didn't name it.
Sweeping across with the selector tool doesn't grab it.
I have 150 items on the page....ctrl A might do it, but it won't be fun.

I've already redrawn them but you always like the ones you had first

I was SOOOOO on the fence on this one.

I even went so far as to check Burpee's profile for a name. Nuthin.

I know we sometimes become familiar with each other on these forums and thought it was playful banter.

The word burp in any form tends to associate itself with male traits LOL

i would love a few more selection options myself....

like i think clicking on the selection icon when nothing is selected could automatically selects the last selected object...

hovering over it and using the mouse wheel could start from the last object and cycles back and forward..ETC....

then you could also have an area select tool (I often miss this in xara (can this be done?))

'Burpee' is an exercise routine, it is also a brand name for a seed company taken from the founders sire name
