The second (which are easier for me to see) are designed to view with your eyes looking straight ahead, parallel (diverging). About 90% of people see a stereogram with their eyes parallel. It seems I'm in a minority as I see both ways, and the converging seems easier for me.
Has to keep in mind to use diverging version if I want it to show to someone.

That's the thing I was missing.

Funny how I use them for other things but never considered them here.

I was manually adjusting everything using the arrow keys.

I never thought of skewing either. That did change things, too.

It looks like Brody is sticking out more now than before and I got the bubble right where I wanted it I think.
