I have been asked to come up with a logo for a department in the company I work for.

It has been whittled down to these three. The companys' colours are orange/blue.

What do you think? Any improvements/suggestions.

#2 is too crowded, there isn't enough "breathing room" for the text.

#3 is the best, but #2 could be better if you gave the text just a bit more room, IMO.

#2 and #3---with #3 being my favorite even though it has no orange color incorporated.

Why not use orange on the bevel and see if that works for you??? Then you have the companies colors in there.

    Crapy example below....

The last two are nice, with the #2 my favorite. But, to me, the white-black color scheme for the shiney surface of "CTEC" does not work ... it doesn't integrate/tie-in with the very nice colors in the rest of the logo.

Design 1 looks much more contemporary and focused to me.
