Back in May 2007 a near neighbour of ours asked me to download some photos from her digital camera to my computer (her computer wasn’t working at the time) and put them on a CD rom for future use. They were taken at the local village fiesta of San Isidro in May of that year. When she eventually saw the photos, she asked me if I could “do something” with the one on the left, so that it could be printed as a CD cover, which I did, as the middle graphic shows.
I posted this result here, but I can’t find the original thread, now.
I wanted to design a cover for the DVD version, (a movie of the whole ceremony at the village church, which the parents of Melody (the girl featured here)) wanted.
So I freshened up the image (right) with 3 plugins, Alien Skin’s BOKEH, (Sledger's thread here) Akvis FRAME SUITE and Alien Skin’s SPLAT! / Edges for the halftone effect on the frame.
I had a lot of fun using the plugins, and I learned how to use Bokeh properly in the process.
Do any of you have work that you have made using plugins that you would like to share here?
Saludos,
Bob.
