Make a custom brush with a small circle set to repeat, that should do the trick.
Hi Matt,
As RTW1 said a small circle can do the trick.

thanks, works fine like that!
Increase or decrease the line width to make the dots larger or smaller.

I just made a brush (my first) like shown above. Just wondering if the line color can be changed without changing line to a shape. I thought you could but it won't work for me at the moment.
Hi Burpee,
The trick is to assign a named colour to the shape you use to create your brush.

Thank you Bill. I grabbed your lines too so I could look at them.
I once loaded a bunch of brushes into XX and it took forever to load. I took them out and put them in a separate folder. Is there a way to have them show up in the line gallery without actually loading up when I start XX?
The only way I know is to load the file that contains the brush when you need to use it. As long as that file is still loaded you can create a New document and the brush will show in the gallery. Once you have drawn a line an applied the brush you can close the original file.

I think you can create a folder in the fill gallery for brushes - but its been a couple of years or more since I tried and so many changes to the program....
