    Default Redonkulous advertising

Ever come across a thoughtless/stupid/wrong or just plain redonkulous advertisement?
One that makes you wonder 'what they were thinking' ?

Here's one I spotted this evening..

Can you tell what's dumb about this ad for this sprung clip webcam?

I'm almost scared to suggest anything - in case I miss the obvious problem.

    1) It's not a good idea having a spring clip pressing against the screen
    2) The clip gets in the way of the screen. Anyview indeed.

..not sure what the red dot is about..

is that a monitor it is clipped on top of?

because if so then quite apart from hiding part of the screen, it probably comes under the general heading of 'invalidating the warranty [manufacturer's guarantee]' as it may well twist the screen face slightly if its LCD, so it 'bleeds'..... or scratch it .. or...

    I am less than impressed...

i was thinking the Red Dot also...
I.E i suspect this type of optical effect is normally associated with the type of optics obviously not apparent in a cheap web cam....
IE like light getting in from the view finder or some kind of internal reflection or something like that i dont know....
