Alex you make some very good points that will definately be considered as updates are made to XaReg.

Hans sorry to hear the program continues to not work on your system. I am continuing to look for a solution.

Robert, what does the TransparencyBecomesCurrent registry setting do?

    Hi Bill,

If this value is set to 1, and you have nothing selected, then select the transparency tool, and select a transparency (like stained glass) you get a dialog box and can select "set" for it to become a default attribute for new objects. Then whenever you create a new object, it will have that transparency (like stained glass) as an attribute.
