Text selection & color picker

I really get tired of using the color picker with a text selection, this was not a problem with previous versions of XARA (I am now using the latest pro version).

When I select a part of a text and try to color that text through the use of the color picker it just not work (or not work user friendly). I have to try it several times, click oustide the selection, click another color etc. to make it work. I also can not see the color change without deselecting the complete text.

Anybody has the same problems and/or a solution to this?
I really think this is going backwards or a bug.

This happens to me now and again. It must be a bug (I'm using X4 not Xpro4).

Yes, looks like a bug.
I've reported this to Xara.
