    I don't visit this forum as often as I should, and it's a mistake, as I keep coming across great things like this. In terms of whether it is worth the time, only you can decide that, and the fact that you end up with something to post shows that you do think the time is worth it.

    This seems to be one of those iconic images that one likes to come back to now and again to see if it can be improved or enhanced in some way. But the worry is that sometimes the only way forward is to start from scratch again, and knowing how much went into it the first time, that can be very daunting!

    I'm still trying to steel myself into continuing with a hi-res version of my xara3D version. Attached is a variant of an earlier globe.
