I'd look to see if it is something to do with the organiser
You have checked out corel forums and google?
On some systems the organiser can be really bad news
Did the trial program run ok - or was it slow before you bought the CD

Mornin handrawn:-)
How do I check the organizer?
I have searched and searched and finally found this forum. If you have the url of other forums for PSPX2 I would sure love to have them:-)
The trial program was also very slow.
Thank you so much for helping me:-)

I pass this information on [I do not use the program]:
right click in the thumbnail area at the bottom of the screen and click on 'preferences'
under excluded items there are two buttons you can click:
'file format exclusions' and 'uncataloged folders'
1) click 'file format exclusions' then 'select all' then click 'ok'
2) if the above does not help repeat, but click on 'uncatlogged folders' and click 'reset to default'
check also these two threads here:

this is general information - it may not apply to your version or system

I'm wondering if I should try to fully uninstall X2 before installing Ultimate?
What ya think?
I don't want any snake poop slow PSP, LOL !
Corel has a file that you download to fully uninstall PSP.
Let me look for that again.
OK,
Ultimate installed and running fine on my computer with no slow down at all.
I uninstalled the original X2 first and then restarted before installing the Ultimate version and everything seems just fine.
Your problem must be the program conflicting with something else installed on your machine.
Is it still giving you problems?
Hooterville,
Yes I am still having problems with it being so slow. Esp when moving a file to another location or just simple delete:-(
I agree with you, I do think it is a conflict but how in the heck do I figure out what it is? It seems like looking for a needle in a haystack <g>
I want to thank all of you for trying to help me:-)
Cat:-)
