X4 hangs up when File clicked

Hi good friends, it's been along time since I posted a thread. I sure need your help.
I’m in big trouble with Xtreme 4. It starts up OK, If you click on FILE nothing happens, it hangs up and will not respond. This has happen ten times in the last few days
I just finished creating a couple of boxes and circles, lines and text all that works but if I click on FILE the program stops working.
I reinstalled X4 and the problem well its back again.
This problem seems to relate to the following new hardware installation.
I bought and new HP 6310 All-in-one printer, scanner, copier and fax recently and installed all the HP photo software programs that came with it. This machine is suppose to be compatible with Vista & XP

MY OS: Win XP Ver: 5.1.2600 Serv Pack 3 Build 2600

Has anyone run into this problem before.
X4 was working really good prior to problem arising.
I sure would appreciate your help if anybody has had this problem.
I also sent a ticket into Xara tech support this afternoon

Hi Bob,

You are missing the latest patch. http://support.xara.com/index.php?_m...pcid=1&nav=0,1

This corrects several issues and may correct the one you are having.
