Nice one Gary . Love the depth in the picture. And Yes We Can. I hope you haven't written Obama in the SG, cause I can't see that. I'd be worried if you have

Nice Mickie, how did you get the slightly wrinkled effect on the fabric pieces?
Judi
Great use of textures Mickie.
Difficult SG to see Gary but worth the eye-strain. Are they really using "Yes We Can" as a campaign strap? Makes him sound like Bob the Builder!

Judi, I used the fabric fill as a transparency and then played around with both the amount of transparency, position, and dpi of the fill.
I used the leather fill on the frog's mouth and wished I could have found a way to put a slight curve in the seam. I would also like to do something with the elephant's eye, but am not sure what.
Mickie
Nation builder we hope.Makes him sound like bob the builder!

Gary inspired me with his latest stereogram. After reviewing his Creating a Floating Cube 3D Stereogram and To Infinity - Creating a Hidden 3D Image Stereogram Xara Xone tutorials I thought I'd give it a go. I've been working on this, off and on, most of the weekend and am at the point where I think it's good enough to post.
Unfortunately, it is also political in nature. Don't fret about the message, just enjoy the SG (if you can see it).
I can see how Stereograms could become addictive. A bit sado/masochistic, but overall, a healthy combination of frustration and fun! Thanks, Gary!!!
Enjoy (or not),
HayTay
This started out as just a copy a shape exercise. Just morphed into this glass chunk on its own.

I saw him in Berlin ... he was hillarious ... just another load of hot air. But there again politics is dead any way. The free market won - did so about 25 years ago ... if you don't believe me then check out a very well informed documentry by the sublime Adam Curtis called 'The Trap'.

One minute Obama was talking about the threat of the USSR (Which doesn't even exist any more) and the next he was talking about being friends with the Russians. The only thing he didn't say was what he was going to do. Oh, yep, he talk about hope and lots of things need to change and it was going to be a long road and a hard task that lay ahead. But he said diddly-squat about how he planned to do it or even what it was that needed doing. It was amazing - purely breath-taking.
The metaphor that I used was that it was like a seller of canned baked beans going to the public and saying - do you like food? And eveyone wooped and cheered. Do you sunny days? More wooping and cheering! DO YOU LIKE FOOD OUTSIDE ON A SUNNY DAY? YES YES YES.
Now there's something can believe in - food outside on a sunny day! WOW. Never once mentioned what his beans tasted like. Same old "golf sale" but I was glad I was there to witness it with my own eyes and ears.
RIP Politics. Long Live The Free Market.
BTW Before anyone takes this the wrong way I don't have any political opinion or stand, I don't support left nor right, democrat or republican, none of it. I'm an artist and a joke one at that. This picture is a repost ... no one on the boards got before. It's not political, derogatory about obama ... it's about truth and where we're at as a civiliation. History if you will.
please... no politics...
I think that is in the rules someplace.
Sorry Egg... been looking for a quote... http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthread.php?t=24422
