Xtreme 4.0 Information: Skinning/Painting BMP Files

File is a True Color(24bpp),How do I convert this?

In Xtreme:
1. Open this file (main menu / File / Open...).
2. Export it (main menu / File / Export...)
3. Select Windows bitmap .bmp format and enter file name.
4. In the opened export bitmap options dialog set color depth to 256.
5. Click export.

hello..2nd piece of Software.
2 Downloads,so not sure If one is the
Plug-In Version or the Stand Alone folder
With exe and batch file?
Paint Scheme Artist suggests using the
Stand Alone folder leaving the 'Skin File'
As is & "save as" a bmp to Bright Folder,
Then goto Bright Folder>Click Batch File>
And let the Bright do it's thing!
Once You see file size reduced,move file
To appropriate folder in Flight Sim,and should
Appear next time of starting Flight Sim.

hello..(John,Anybody)Another 'Noobie' question?
Continued with the IL2 Flight Sim theme,
Within files of Aircraft Markings/Decals
Etc I've came across a problem.
A few of the sheet I utilise have single
Markings which I can (mouse) right click>copy>
Paste with ease,the marking applied with transparency
But with others I have encountered the
Whole sheet of markings copies non-single/transparent,
I've tried cut & paste I end up with the single item &
The colored backing etc..
I assume I've missed something & there must be an easy way
With Xara Software to solve this?
Apology for not enclosing zip file of Markings as
Too Big a file to Upload any help appreciated & thanks in

hello..Uploaded file of Aircraft markings.
On opening to view You will see that
The markings sheet item moves as
Complete,how do I seperate each item
To use as a single application layer?
Want to utilise/convert as *All files from Xara
File.
Extremely greatful for 'Any Help'.

David, your file contains one bitmap. These aren't vector shapes. However the bitmap has alpha so you can draw a square over a shape, select both the rectangle and bitmap and Arrange / combine shapes / intersect shapes.

Then make a bitmap copy again with alpha. See attached xar.

Why have all your posts got carriage returns in them? It makes them very difficult to read.
